OG Jiu Jitsu

OG Jiu-Jitsu is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) school that will soon be located in North Carolina. The owner, Raul Octaviani, wanted a logo for his soon-to-be-presented school. He wanted an old, wise wolf as the dojo's mascot and incorporated old-school BJJ with his instructor, Joe Moreira, into the design.

Primary Logo Design

The primary logo features imagery and typography inspired by the traditional style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools. The wolf character represents the instructor, representing the qualities of a wise wolf, which reflects the martial art he aims to teach. The blue flame symbolizes a clean and efficient flame in this martial arts practice. Additionally, the primary logo includes the name of the team associated with the dojo and the name of the dojo itself.

Secondary Logo & Favicon

The secondary logo and favicon are simplified versions of the primary logo. They are designed to blend into backgrounds or serve as small icons that connect the imagery to the brand. By simplifying elements of the primary logo, these versions maintain the brand's core identity while allowing for greater versatility in different digital and print contexts.

Branding

The combined branding forms this business's visual identity and creates quick symbols that the audience will associate with. As members engage in their training, they connect these recognizable elements with the dojo's supportive community, enhancing their overall experience and dedication to their practice.
